Kayla and Connor met in the summer of 2016 while working as interns. When that summer had ended, they had both thought that their paths would not cross again. However, by coincidence, they had each chosen to return to the same company for another internship the next summer and were able to work together again.

After graduating from their respective colleges, Kayla had moved into an apartment with friends in the Callowhill section of Philly, and Connor had moved into an apartment on Ludlow Street. They often hung out as friends, hitting up different quizzos, bars, and even playing in a bowling league. Once the pandemic hit and the usual social hangouts came to a pause, the two weren’t able to see each other for over a year. But, in March of 2021, Kayla had asked Connor to catch up over dinner. Unbeknownst to them, March 26th would become their dating anniversary.

For two and a half years, they had the best time dating, which included moving into their own apartment in the Washington Square West neighborhood. And on September 29, 2023, inside that little apartment, Connor proposed to Kayla. She said Yes!
